This class 3B low level infrared laser in now available on site to treat a variety of conditions and provides an opportunity to incorporate this treatment with traditional acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and massage.
Fernandes Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine has completed 15 hours of continuing education at the New England School of Acupuncture in laser acupuncture. In studying with these researchers from Boston University, practical skills were developed and are being applied to improve the lives of patients through the use of laser acupuncture.

What is laser acupuncture?
The laser emits photons which increase ATP production in the cell thus increasing cell regeneration and tissue repair. The laser has anti-inflammatory effects on the body and decreases edema.
Laser acupuncture is used to treat
- musculoskeletal conditions including carpel tunnel syndrome and neuropathy, paralysis in stroke and other paralytic conditions such as Bell's Palsy.
